radio problems

Model: Cherokee
Engine: 4.0 inline 6
I was ridin through so rough trails a little while ago with my headlights on and listenin to music and suddenly my radio shut off, but when i got home and shut my lights off may radio turn on, an then as i turned my lights back on my radio shut off again and now this happen all the time so does anyone have a idea what it could be???
