I have an aftermarket pioneer head unit. Its shot. It has the jeep harness. Will that harness fit any aftermarket head unit?

The harness that was hooked up to the Pioneer unit to the stock wiring? If so, I would think the harness probably works with other Pioneer units, but I'm not sure. It could even work with all others for all I know. If you are going to get a new head unit, I would probably get it and see if the harness works with it, then if you need to get a new harness do that. There are also some places that if you order a new head unit you get a free install kit, which is nice. Or you could ditch all the factory stuff and run your own wires if you want to.
Long story short, I have no idea. Guess and check would be my approach. Good Luck!

Harnesses tend to be brand specific (Pioneer harnesses work with most/all Pioneer head units, Sony, with Sony, etc). I'd honestly be pretty surprised if one brand harness worked with a different brand had unit, unless one is a parent company to the other.

My harness is an adapter harness. Connects to jeep stock at one end.
I have had the other plugged into Sony, Pioneer, Clarion. It fit all. The adapter harness is specific to my year jeep at the stock end. The other end is common to some standardization the head industry has come to.
