radio going nuts

I think i have a short just wnat your all's opinion though my stereo turns on but if i hit a bump it blows either the clock or dome light fuse. and when i try to listen to music the music is good til i try to turn the volum up at all and there is like a feed back beeping noise. I really like music and i have a descent system so i really wnat it to work.

I assume its an aftermarket system. Did you just recently install it? Make sure you have the right fuse. Also, pull the system and check every wire for a solid connection. If the power is loose or exposed any contact or shift can cause it to go nuts.

Sound like you have 2 problems. 1. make sure the "12volt light" wire is not being used. You only need this wire connected if you use the factory radio, it gets 12+ when you turn on the lights. 2 re-check all your connections as previous poster said and make sure nothing is touching each other...Also sounds like you have a ground problem...Tj
