No-one? in the FSM it says to use Quick Connect Fitting Release Tool 6935. Is there a name for that, that everyone at autozone will be able to find/know.

The bottom line should be a quick disconnect and I just use a small pair of pliers to release them, they do sell the tool and I am sure if you just exsplain it to them they will know what you need.
Are you talking about the quick connect fitting going to the trans? It pulls back toward you and comes out. I used a pair of pliers to get mine out with no problem. Just be careful not to break it. As far as the hoses going into the heater core I couldn't tell you right now cause I am at work. Do you have a haynes manual?

i dont think its coming out.. i was giving it a pretty hard tug, and it wasnt moving.
I think you guys are talking about the large hose, im talking about the little hose, its a metal fitted line that goes into the bottom of the Rad. and had a bolt that held it on, but now it doesnt move.

The one on the bottom is supposed to be a quick disconnect, but I couldn't get it off either. I just cut the rubber hose behind the "quick" disconnect, and put in a screw fitting on each end when I put it back together with the new radiator. Probably just got lazy and didn't want to buy another tool. You don't even need the screw fitting, you can just hose clamp and gasket seal the cut end to the metal fitting on the new radiator, just be sure to flare the end of the metal fitting on the radiator. I used Indian Head gasket stuff, haven't had a leak yet.
