Do not use that stuff. It will clog your heater hose and water jackets n the block and head and u will over heat and eventually blow the tank off radiator . Replace radiator t stat and flush the sh$@ out of your system

Another tip if your driving and you notice the temp gauge is a lil higher (not in red) but roll down your windows and turn your heat on max and floor position. It takes away heat from the engine compartment and allows her to run cooler .

Don't know if u got your tranny cooler lines disconnected from the rad or not........ but, FWIW, the top connector unscrews and the bottom one is a "quick connect". Get the disconnect tool at any parts store, push it in the big end and pull the big end off the little end. To re-install just push the big end on, u should here a click.....the other one (top tube) just screws back on.

Yeah I flushed the mess out of it. My transmission inlet lube was slightly corroded, end up breaking it when I took the old radiator out so I went to by a new one. That's the last thing to do before I fill her back up today.

Yea it's recommended to change the coolant every two years for conventional Coolant and five for ext life coolant or it because real Acidic and corrodes that cooler and even the water pump
