Radiator Issue
I have a 2001 jeep cherokee sport 4.0 L. Since 05 I have been dealing with radiator issues. As of tomorrow, I will be on my fourth radiator. Every 1.5 years my radiator starts leaking (it drips to the bottom right of my passenger side). Last time I i had it done the mechanic found a crack in the radiator--I had same issue when I had it replaced the second time.
any thoughts on why it keeps cracking?
Note--I am not an off-roading driver-mostly side roads and freeways and I drive under 12,000 miles per year. So it would seem odd that it keeps breaking on me.

The question that begs asking here is exactly what brand/type of radiator are you using?
Some aftermarket OEM style (ie: plastic) ones are not holding up well.
This seems to be a quality issue, there isn't any reason that the engine itself would be causing it.
You should go with a higher quality radiator, and obviously a different brand than what you have been installing!!
Your mechanic should have done so for you by now, which is another concern.

What about the install itself? Could it be "rubbing" some where/on something? Rads expand/contract/flex, etc. Any front end damage tweaking/changing slightly the rads location/position? Even the cheapest of the cheap should last more than 1.5 years.
This is exactly what I was thinking.
