Ok so autozone had the correct rad in stock with the fittings. Just installed it and it was way easier than I anticipated.

With regards to the tstat housing. The new one didn't come with the connector for the wiring. I tried to unscrew the old one, but that sumbish is in there good... What is that part called? I can't seem to locate it..suppose it be easy enough just to buy a new one...

Wow... Finally got it all back together.. Filled with 50/50 mix, and cranked it up to get some air out... So far so good, no leaks that I can see... Letting it sit tonight then I'll take it for a spin tomorrow. Think I might do a drain and fill after that...

Be sure to remove the rad cap 2maro before starting the motor (MOTOR COLD) and check coolant level in both the rad and bottle.

 

The bottle is at the 2nd line, as I added the mix to it. I will check it, and crank it with cap off...

 

Well, seems like its holding up so far.. Don't yet know if it's fixed the overheating issues yet, been too cool out.. Only time will tell..
