Default Radiator help

Hey guys I have a 1990 xj 4.0 with the closed system and converting to the open, well i know it's possible but I have a problem that the radiator neck that the caps goes on is to long and hits the air bix and diesnt Allow the crossmember to sit correctly does anyone have a solution I want to keep the bix for a snorkel

Although this helps I can't find how to fix my issue, it's the radiator filler neck is long and hit the air bix causing the radiator crossmember not to sit

Can you post a picture of it? Even on my 2000 the radiator cap/neck almost sit flush with the stock air box.

Yes later tonight k will post a pic I'm at work, but it pushed the box a quit bit, but when I remove the box it sits perfectly, the think is I need to keep the bix to put a snorkel on it
