It should be on the lower passenger side of the radiator. If its a 96 or earlier take the grille off and its right there and easy to get to.

You'll have the tab if its a replacement radiator. An original will be a small tube about an inch long. I just replaced my radiator a month ago and it took about 3 1/2 gallons mixed.

If you were smart you wouldn't use the drain plug. Most of the time the will either leak after words or they will break when trying to take them off. Just remove the lower radiator hose it is much easier to drain it that way.

Like RT says. Ignore the valve. Might cause a real headache. On mine removing the air cleaner gives access to the lower hose. While it's off you can check and reach a sea of other things. See your mount, tension your belt, snug the manifold bolts. Even find acorns in the air box...

I agree with all them. I was just letting you know where it was. But yeah, just pull the lower rad hose. You'll make a bigger mess but it's more effective

Lower hose works well as the others referenced.
I replaced the "pitcok" on mine because I actually tried to use it and it gave me grief when I was finished with my flush.
I also installed the "flush kit" in the heater hose because it allows you to attach a garden hose and flush the whole system. Some guys I know don't like 'em, I've used them on nearly every vehicle I've ever owned with out any problems at all.
I'm also a fan of the (?6-8 hour/600 mile?) chemical flush, again, some guys I know don't like 'em. You can't use the stuff if it's gonna' be below freezing but I've used it on half a dozen vehicles over the years with out any short comings.

x4 on not using the drain plug. On my 98, it's impossible to get to or reach with any kind of tool to even open it up. Pretty sensless design. If you still have your engine splash shield, you could leverage it to channel the antifreeze from pulling the lower hose into a bucket. That's what I did anyhow

Yeah just use the lower hose. it's close to the air box because the drain plug is a pain
