the sensor is on the side of the radiator right below the air box its round and has a two prong connector and im not to sure about the relay just jump a wire between the connector for the temp sensor and see if the fan comes on

Is there a way to make the e-fan switch on at a lower temp?? Say +5o of normal.
Seems like if it would switch on earlier it would keep cooler?? I run 100oc normal and red line at 125oc On a hot day I will be at 110oc so I have a small amount of heat to play with. A good hill will put me up to 120oc and then I pull over or crank the heat.

Please don't hate cuz I'm Canadian.

Default Making the e-fan come on sooner.

On my 89 Cherokee Laredo (4.L)I put in new antifreeze (50-50 mix) and then installed a new 180 degree thermostate. Mine doesn't seem to heat up as high now and the e-fan kicks right on. Well I did install a new e-fan sensor. It is located above the lower radiator hose. Seems to me the sensor get old and don't work well or they get coated with rust (ect.). The electric fan sensor cost me $22.00.
