radiator fan making noise
hey peeps:
my radiator fan is making a grinding noise, like the bearings going out, do i need to replace the fan blade assm, or the fan clutch assm, not really familiar with this, so im asking here in the forum, just dont have funds right now and the cheaper the better.............
any help would be good.
i could spin the blade easily and it engages when i step on the gas peddle, it works just fine, it does not over heat, just a grinding noise...that i want to get rid of........waterpump is new.
thanks
dave

It should just be the clutch assembley, I dont think there are any moving parts in the fan blade assembley. I would also check the water pump if the fan seems to be working correctley.
