Its not like itll be clogged from dirt or something... itll be clogged from corrosion which if youve cleaned your Batt post you know you can just wash it off... its gotta be scrubbed... cant scub the inside of a radiatior so you just have to replace... good new is a corroded radiator is really really heavy and bring good money at the scrap yard for the aluminum... I got a radiator for my old 98 cummins for $275 and took the old one to the yard... got $65 for it... made that $275 hit a whole lot better on me... Goodluck!

so since it sounds like im gonna have to replace, what years are interchangeable with a 93 and how bad are the rads with plastic tanks? im not lookin for performance im just lookin to not overheat. ive got an 180 tstat for it and some water wetter. also ive spaced the back of my hood so that the hot air will blow out better. so basically are the ones with plastic tanks that bad? i found one on ebay for 67 bucks and free shipping

you can definately try to flush it out with a flush kit, i normally drain the coolant fill it with the flush kit and water then drive it aaround for an hour or so then drain it out and fill it again with antifreeze if its really clogged then u might need to flush it more than once

not trying to hijack but just wanted to mention that life time warranty means the life time of the part. not forever. all items have an expected lifetime. 5 years ten years, hundred thousand miles etc. doesn't mean forever. you need to ask what the expected lifetime of that item is.

i worked part time at autozone all last year... the warranties as long as you can remember your name and or phone number... so if you can remember that then its warrantied till you die from autozone... Even brake pads... with the lifetime warranty when they wear out you can just bring them up and swap them out without ever paying for them again... The vehicles "suppose" to be in you name still but if you can remember the guys name you got it from and/or his number they dont ID for it... Some parts even cross over and i trade in batteries on warranty all the time... although they arnt lifetime warranties... just helps... all Duralast parts are lifetime pretty much... as long as you keep up with what its under in the system... make copies of your receipts though and keep them cause the ones they give you the ink will run out and then you have to remember for sure... Also if you have a starter for 15 years and your always replacing it and you just not happy with the part... they wont tell you but you ca nget your money back and go somewhere else still... alsot of stores do that... did it was a $2000 lawn mower after last season... cause it didnt make a season before it died and was still under the year warranty so i just took it back to lowes for a full refund... im sorry this is off subject also but just felt it should be explained...
