Gunk settling at the bottom mixing with the coolant and dripping out? Do a couple flushes?

Not sure really just kinda guessing.

Sounds like there is a build up of corrosion inside the engine block and radiator. Most likely from running it with to much water and not enough coolant. As previously mentioned, thoroughly flush the system and refill with the correct mixture of coolant and "distilled" water. Distilled water does not have the impurities and minerals that regular tap water has and will not cause the excessive corrosion that you have now.

Yeah It should, radiator flush is suppose to break loose mineral deposits and any junk that is in there and send it on out of the system.

Its not GOOD for it, but it is a good idea to get all that crap out of there. Many many radiators will have fluid looking like that if they have not been taken care of, flushed or just had improper coolant/water mix.

Definately good to go ahead and clean it up!

NP. I still have yet to do mine along with a very long list of other things the PO neglected. Plus I have the crappy renix (closed pressure) cooling system to deal with, I want to swap the whole stupid thing out anyway.
