im wiring my baja's using this diagram:


ive got everything but i dont know how to wire something to the fuse box...

The wire from the switch going to the fuse box shouldn't be going there lol it should take the place of the 87 wire on the relay. The 85 wire should go to theoff position and the on position wire to the lights because the way it looks now, your lights have no power source.

Looks your diagram has pins 86 and 85 back wards

the only diff between the two is in the first one you were taking power from the fuse block. if you were pluged into a slot that only had power when the keys on you wouldnt be able to leave the fogs on if the engine was off.

the chart i posted the link to shows pin 85 and 86 wired different then yours. where you take power from to supply the toggle switch is irrelevant

Yah, the problem is, is that i dont know how to take pwr from the fusebox... i dont know how to connect the wire into the fuse box, iow

both the first and 2nd diagrams look good. for the 2nd just make sure you put an inline fuse for the switch thats rated at 5amps. or there should be an "acc" slot in the fuse block that you can just plug a 1/4" male connector into. that gives you switched power to keep the lights from being left on with the Jeep off.
