the rubber hose with the zip tie is obviously cracked. my question is can I use another hose with the same diameter whole or is this a specific part?

Having low rpm, found this, wanted to confirm if I can use a piece of hose I have layin around or not.

 

should point out that is the line going from the valve cover to the intake if I recall

 

Standard vacuum hose should work fine.

 

Or you could do this for under $10:

715-1365 at Napa. They have the other harnesses also.
