Ok so lately my 99 has been acting up. It'll die with no warning while driving. complete power loss sometimes iI I give it gas it'll start up right away while coasting other times it'll take a few minutes to start back up. Just died on the highway and I've cranked it a dozen times with no luck. Sounds like it wants to turn over but doesn't. By myself so I can't check for spark. Anything I can do or test with no tools right now? Can't afford to get a tow please help quickly guys

oh no sorry it sounds like it's gonna fire up but never does. I've got basic tools now if anyone has any suggestions.. My guess is it's not getting fuel but I've never worked on any of it so I'm not sure what to check

Here's the factory manual for your jeep. get a few basic tools, a cheep voltmeter and lean about your jeep. there's a good fault finding section for everything.

You don't have to go under it to unplug it. The plug is on the drivers side just above the bell housing. The only thing that you might get dirty will be your hands. Good Luck!

I must be blind or overlooking it then. Is it the long covered set of wires with an obvious plug in the middle leading up near the manifold?
I was under the impression I had to unplug it at the bellhousing

That's The one. Just unplug it and plug it back in. Some times it will get her going again. The bad thing it doesn't always work.
