Default ( Quick ????) Broken Tail light lens

I broke my left tail light lens cover while wheeling today, Can i buy just a new lens cover or the do i have to buy the whole tail light?

Red tape!.....oh you want to actually fix it. As far as i can tell you have to get the whole housing.

Whole assembly, it's all made together. Easy to change out.

Yeah, good luck at the jy. The two things that go the fastest around here are the tail lights and header panels. I busted both of mine on the last wheeling trip. Fortunately I have 2 sets in the garage for that reason. I buy every good one I find at the jy.

Ebay is always full of OEM lenses in perfect condition. I'd go snag the cheapest one you come across.

to the guys that are always breaking lens, why not just buy the metal housings with the round in lights in them? would they not hold up better?

Man the JY in San Antonio is ALWAYS full of XJ's and they always have the tail lights and tons of good parts.

Thanks for the info and i should have updated last year, but i replaced the whole thing. I was TDY to Vegas and hit up a JY their. There was a ton of XJ's out their. There is only one at my local JY and the guy is really proud of it

wait so we are ruling out red tape?? ...... lol last i had to buy one it was the whole assembly and it was about $45 dollars brand new from the parts store i think they had to order it but it was there like the next day
