Default Questions about my control arms...

Im going to be finishing up my 4 inch lift on Sat. at a buddys shop and I need some knowledge about the caster of my front axle... ok here it goes...

Parts list for the front, rustys 4.5 inch coils, rustys extended quick disconnects, skyjacker shocks, skyjacker adjustable track bar and S.S.

Im already lifted 2inches with a budget boost, and my question is, Will using my factory control arms with a 4 inch lift throw my caster off by a whole bunch or not enough to worry about?? I wanted to just use my OEM control arms for a little while because I just put new Energy Bushings in them and I saw it as kind of a waste if I baught new adjustable control arms with new bushings.... Im planning on getting a long arm upgrade soon as well so that was another reason I wanted to hold off on buying new control arms...

anybody done this before or have any input??

Any time you change height you change the camber caster ect. I know before I put my lift 3.5 It was pulled way back I don't know if it would have even reached the front axle.

I can be done though. A guy at my gym had about 4" with facory arms. I don't know if he had a ton or problems if any. I know he wanted some though.

won't need a sye, you can go 4 inches on stock arms with little problems.
i rode in my buddy's with 5 inches on 35's with stock arms and track bar.
it didn't seem he was struggling with the steering. he was just one-handing it. don't know about bump steer. he didn't say anything about any. but he's also pretty crafty at modding.

he wheeled it like this for a couple of years.

do it, then just fix what is needed once you know what's going on. at most you'll need lowers.

i ran stock arms on 5" lift no issues at all, just the caster was a but to the extreme side of adjustment. when they align it ask for the print out(like Big O gives you). Also you dont wanna run it for to long, having the coils at the bow that they are at(its not much) will decrease their life

Yea I had thought about the fact that the coils would be in a bit of a bind...

Nope no SYE, I have the rear lifted already and the leafs I went with have about 3 degree angle shims, plus I already have a Tcase drop kit. BUT I did pick up a bit of vibration, so I dont know whether or not im going to try 6 degree shims or just brake down and buy an SYE....
My buddy has been building swamp buggys and Jeeps his whole life and he knows some tricks that you can do a "homemade" SYE im sure some of the guys on here know what im talking about... so we might try that as well...

to fix your rear driveshaft vibes, you can get the slip part of the rear shaft from a yj wrangler. it has a longer slip yoke and steeper angle cuts for the u-joints.

that's what i've been using. i have about 7.5 inches with no sye or t-case drop.
