Still getting parts and all the info I can while waiting for outside temps to get cooler. I have went thru many links of people doing their floors have not seen pics of people sealing up the underside of the vehicle where the panels overlap. I'm guessing just tack the inside in a few spots then go and do bottom (of course after prepping the surfaces) side getting the seam as tight as possible by hammering, bending and tacking also. Complete the inside then underneath vehicle sealing the seams with seam sealer then coat with paint or what ever you feel like?

3M automotive seam sealer. Brushable #08656. Use cheap disposeable brushes, like the ones that come with bottles of anti-sieze. Trim the bristles down a bit. If you prefer the tubed stuff, Fast N Firm #8505. It fits a standard caulking gun. There are other seam sealers out there, but those two work.
