Default Question mark

extemely confused..I have a renix xj (90) and my left turn signal light on the instrument cluster will stay on when I turn on the headlights. I've checked and all the bulbs on the driver side are in working order and when I turn the headlight switch on and off it will turn said bulb on and off with the headlights. Blinkers blinks. I just replaced the turn signal switch earlier this week (separate issue) but this has been going on before I replaced the switch.

won't hurt to double check I still have my bleeder stick I cut off the handle of an old shovel when my wheel cylinder went. but wouldn't it stay on when I shut the headlights off?? The first thing I thought was "a bulb is out" but maybe I was just rushing and overlooked something

Probably a bad ground in the driver's side parklamp socket.

Ever done this?

Look at the connector in the photo in the link . http://cruiser54.com/?p=35

that connector was hiding from me..kind of a hassle to get it apart but the female side was really corroded. Gotta get a new can of E cleaner. Would it be worth taking the time to swap the connector or will a good cleaning do the job?

So, how do I clean it?
I have the exact same problem as the OP.
I figured that it might be in the light switch itself but, have not tackled the problem yet.
