Question A question about the temperature gauge

A question about the temperature gauge

Salaam (Pease be upon all)

In my 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport the temperature gauge is divided into: 100 – 210 – 260 , and the indicator is always on 210. is that normal?

mine just went up today, it went to like 150 so i was like holy crap and pulle dover, the coolant tank was overflowing and i waited a bit and started it up again and it was at 220, so i drove it home like that its still at like 220... i think my thermostat is starting to stick so i bought a new one. is this easy to install?
