question about ac
I have a 99 cherokee and the ac compressor clutch keeps cycling like once every 10-20 sec. I think i have narrowed it down to either low/high pressure switch, since 2 different gauges reads normal pressure. So question is once i test the switches and figure out which one it is, is it safe to just wire them together to create a open circuit so compressure works? The switches are hard to come by and unknown amount of time on back order?

I'm experiencing something similar and I'm still investigating. Is your ac cooling at all. Before you do anything else you need to ensure that the filling of your ac is sufficient. Get one of these ac refill cans with a gauge built in.
I don't think a certain amount of cycling is unusual, just trying to figure out how much cycling is normal
