Quality portable/cig lighter compressor
Does anyone have any luck with a decent cig lighter compressors...I can only find crappy ones that take 20 min to pump up a 31' Tire..thanks

Your experience is right in there with the way it is. You won't find a cigarette lighter source compressor that is suitable for pumping up four tires, either from a time or duty cycle stand point. The thing is, that compressing air takes a lot of power and to compress enough of it to be effective four our purposes takes more than the ten amps you can get out of something on the dash. To get enough to do the job, you will have to have something you need to hook up directly to the battery and draws at least 20 amps. The more the better

A friend gave me this model. It would fill my 35s from 12 psi to 20 psi faster than a Viair with a tank filled another guy from trail pressure to steet pressure. He was on 37s.

That looks nice and not overly expensive...I don't mind hooking to battery.I will order one this week...thanks

A cheap air tank is better than nothing. Fill it at the gas station then fill your tires with it. I also do this even with my car right there, just in case that gas station's air pump is crap, I don't end up letting more air out of my tires.
