Default Q: Motor swap from aw4 to AX15?

OK just picked up a 97 xj with bad motor but with AX-15 man 4 door. Plan is to put my motor from my 97 xj with aw-4 into the other xj. Besides clutch and fly wheel, should or do I need to change out any other components like cpu modules? Any info or recommendations would be great

Any thing that hooks to Aw4 needs to be swapped. If it bolts or plugs in swap it.

Not sure why I would need the shift sensors...this a motor swap not tranny swap. I'm still planning on using the same intakes fuel rails etc. just swapping blocks...

Your post wasn't exactly clear on the trans.

It will work fine.

If you are putting a manual trans on an engine that had an auto, you need to make sure the pilot bearing in the end of the crank is right.

Or, if you're putting an auto trans to a motor that was bolted to a manual, you need to remove the pilot bearing.....
