Default Q. about metal tube

I'm think about building my own cage and i see tube that is called DOM, EWS, and Molly... what is the difference? I know what DOM stands for and I guessing molly is cromo, but I still dont know what the differece is.???

cromolly is alot stronger then the DOM and its lighter i think as well.

its cheaper if u by a premade one and weld it in yourself

They may have straightened away their production, but they were EXTREMELY slow in delivery... like 4 months from order to delivery...

EWS= Electrically Welded Seam... DOM is much stronger.. But EWS is alot cheaper..

Let us know which tube you decide on. DOM is probably all you need and is the strength that is required as well.

Build your own it will be a great experience. Plus when other people see it they may want you to make stuff for them as well and you can make a little money. We did a sport cage for a guys CJ7 and it was going to require a 1-1/2" die for part of it which I didn't have so he bought it as part of the payment to me for doing it.

tubing went up alot 100 ft = 1000
