Default PVC Elbows

During my engine rebuild (in progress) I decided to put on a aftermarket Valve cover. When I tried to remove the old PVC elbows from my old cover they were to brittle and they broke apart. When I went to the different parts stores they all looked but could not find any listed for a 96 Cherokee. I happened across a Dorman (HELP!) catalog, below you can see what I found. The 47057 is the rear for years 94 thru 99 and the 47079 is the front for years 94 thru maybe 06 not sure but it fits a 96 perfactly

I got it thru Quadratec, they also have the front elbow, I just didn't know I would need one when I ordered.

sorry to post a reply to a 7 month old thread but I just replaced the pcv elbow part 47057 from oreillys - I put it on the front part of the engine - to the air filter - I think that this is incorrect - what will happen if this is not fixed? Will it harm the engine?

Gotcha - The front and rear valves - are they the same or different? As in part #'s or duties?

thanks freegdr - I actually had to go to the dealer to get the front breather elbow - it was cheap too at 4.94 including tax! - thanks for the time and the pics!
