DONT use it straight. It tells you right on the bottle how much to cut it. I just made a 10% mix (1 part PP to 9 parts water) and even that says dont use on rubber, paint, etc. Read the bottle, it will tell you how to mix it for your application.

Now, I did use the 10% on my motor, but it says what not to use it on and what percentage to use on cast, aluminum, rubber, etc., and I figured the 10% was OK for spraying onto the motor and rinsing off almost immediately. You can use it straight on some stuff, it says dont use on paint at all.

I sprayed the underside of my hood, used a sponge to wipe with and then the hose to rinse it. It was on there for all of 10 seconds, and it DID mess up the paint.

Read the instructions/directions for your application.

I would try Simple Green. I use it for alot of things, normally straight from the bottle. I'm going to try that on the greese/oil mess under my engine so I can see where the PS leak is coming from
