I literally lold on that one...but yea sounds like your cat is Prolly full of some nasty stuff..Haha..and I think you should be more concerned if there wasn't a tick....its so common in those amc engines

Lol sorry, gotta stay focused here! The tick sometimes goes away. Guess all I can do is go drive it and see if it stalls again since I cleaned the post, get new battery. And Im feeling happy now that you all say the tick is pretty much a normal thing now.

The tick goes away if you tap the accelerator really quickly a few times(When in neutral), put a heavy load on the engine (Hard acceleration), or the engine warms up.
I just drove my jeep so the tick's gone, but it'll be back in a few hours.
