Unhappy Purple is just so sad!

Few weeks ago I noticed a tick in my engine, so imediatly took to mechanic. He says was just a sticky lifter. So he did a oil change and added some Lucas stuff. Also changed the water pump. Well I have still heard the tick which he says it would take some time for it to quiet down. Well I yesterday I got in my yammer Jammer and went to run my sons buddy home, and noticed when I came to a slow down it was bogging down and stalling. The muffler sounds muffled. I thought ok he is mad at me because I didnt take it on our road trip..... Well this morning I go out and start him up after I cleaned the battery thing a majigs, they were very yuckie. (thinking thats why he was loosing power yesterday) But when started up the Yammer was so quiet. Exhauat sounds soo muffled, but it stays running, got a lil bit of smoke cooming out of tail pipe after I shut him down. guessing he needs his engine rebuilt huh? This all cant be very good now can it?

It looked white/grey, I stuck a stick up its tail pipe cuz I thought maybe something got stuffed in it (have a horrible ex) I have a very short tail pipe, but pulled it out and there was black goobers on it :'-( I am sure thats not a good sign either. And it felt like something was blocking the stick but that could be the inside of the muffler.

The muffler would stop the stick unless you had one that was open strait through like a magnaflow. Black buildup is expected, if it was anything more than soot it would be odd though.

are you loosing coolant or oil more than normal? Is the throttle response and rpm normal as well?

It is a magnaflow aggressive 40 i believe. And yeah I was loosing oil, just added some, but this last time I added I added more lucas cuz it says to make the mixture.50/50 for sticky lifters and he only added one bottle. Replace water pump that was leaking. But added some fluids other day when added lucas, but not alot.

Does it seem to lag when you get on the gas? And do the rpms seem normal when your accelerating. Id consider your cat..I've seen those things do some crazy things. And I've seen em produce exactly the problems your having.

throttle response is how quickly the engine revs when you mash the accelerator.
