Default pulling steering wheel

hi all, so I've come into a snag with installing my cruise control, i was able to pull the steering wheel off at the junkyard just fine with my steering wheel puller, but the hole on my jeeps steering wheel stripped out rendering the puller useless, any suggestions on how to pull it off?

I went to the junk yard and had no puller with me. I grabbed a hammer and smacked the steering shaft and it popped off. Just like everything in life if you make the hole quiver it will work well for you
