How many plugs are there all together?
What size are they?
How so you get the exhaust bolts out after they break?
They come in a kit.

That's probably in the top ten of the least fun jobs. Probably there is some stuff on google and U-tube on "extracting broken bolts"

You use a center punch to make a divot, drill in there f ing straight, tap/smack an extractor in there, then hope to heck the extractor doesn't brake. The extractor ....is not something you want to try to drill out.

I'd make darn sure that diaper came up dry before I went through all that!

I think I've decided to ONLY replace th one that is in the back of the block... And maybe the head one if i can get to it with the tranny iut. Just a band aid fix for now.
I'll put any other $$$ into building my donor.

Both say they are for the 4.0... They both show up for my year, one has 6 brass plugs & 1 steel plug, & two itty bitty ones... one has 6 brass & 3 steel plugs & 4 itty bitty ones.... None of them mention what size any of them are.
I assume the larger package is for a cam install also????
Where do the little ones go?

I'll bet you're right on the cam plug being in the one kit.

The only little plugs I can think of are threaded into the driver's side block but I haven't had one whole cup of coffee yet and I don't feel like going outside and uncovering my engine on the stand.
