Hey everybody, I noticed my headliner is starting to sag/droop whatever you wanna call it... I hate it, wonder if any of you dealt with this and what did you do? I wanna stop if befor it's my whole roof!.!. I thought about staples, but that won't look so good. I could use spray glue but I gotta cut it to spray underneath.. Any opinions?

Take out the headliner and re glue it. I did mine in 2 hours (including drying time). A nice weekend project. Get headliner adhesive, I used 3M geberak trim adhesive and works great.

The bed liner is great. I did the inside of my xj. I have not done the head liner but thinking i might.
Also if you do go that route of spray liner. Get the top of your roof too.

Default Do It Right, You Won't Regret It

Do it the right way. Take the entire headliner out, including the fiberglass backing. Strip off the fabric, then scrub off the rotted foam. Use 3 yards of headliner fabric (can be purchased online or at most fabric stores, like JoAnn fabrics) and 2-3 cans of 3M heavy duty spray on adhesive (from an auto parts store). Should cost about a hundred dollars total. With a friend, should take about 2 hours.

Alright sweet. I'm still debating between camo or the bed liner.. The fabric doesn't have to be headliner fabric? Unless you want that extra soft and padding a headliner has right?. I noticed its alot more expensive, so I don't care how it feels on the roof or anything as long as it looks nice
