Pulling hard to the left when braking in the rain
I only feel it when it rains. If I apply the brakes lightly it pulls hard to the left(drivers side). If I apply the brakes moderate, the front drivers side wheel locks up and makes me feel like I'm loosing control of the vehicle. I'm not applying the brakes hard enough to lock them up. I do not have ABS. When it's dry outside, I don't have any problems. Any one with any ideas?

Check the right side rotor for rust on the braking surface as a sign of non-use from a frozen-up caliper. That would explain the left side doing all the braking, and pulling in that direction. The right side brake line could also have an obstruction or the flex-line could be collapsed internally. JMO

Could possibly be a warped rotor. I know somebody with a Toyota Camry with slight front end damage. He said it was from his brakes locking up from a warped rotor. He rear ended car in front of him because of it.

The rotors and brake pads seem fine. I know there only about 8 months old. I was thinking about draining my brake fluid and replacing it with new. The fluid looks like it had never been replaced. If its a locked up caliper should It be replace or can the caliper be fixed?

there are some auto shops that can actually bleed your brake system... we had one of these at Nissan... BG makes them... there freakin awesome... should have seen the junk in some peoples brake systems... gets rid of ALL air... doesnt take hardly any time... air in the lines could cause this but either way it sounds like the left front is stopping the vehicle and the right and maybe even back isnt doing anything... the reason in the rain you notice it is because its wet pavement... its going to lock up a whole lot easier...

remove caliper and clean and grease up the sliders. sounds like they're sticking.
if you're pulling to the right, it's probably the left.

Update :
After all my time in and out of the shop, I finally fixed my brake problem. After replacing the brake pads, calipers, lines, and rotors with new, not re-manufactured parts twice. I measured the rotor temperatures with a laser thermometer. After a short drive in the city, the drivers side rotor was around 375 Degrees and the passenger side was about 212 Degrees. I was down to the the last part that could be the problem. I had my shop change the master cylinder. After the master cylinder was change, there is no pulling and it stops much quicker now. I don't smell burning brakes anymore. Both drivers side and passenger side rotors stay at about 212-225 Degrees. I'm so glad my brake problem is over.

Glad you got it straightened out, and thanks for the up-date. Wish more people would do the same rather than leaving the thread hanging with no results ever getting posted.
