Default proper jack

so im new to jeeps. and i a couple of months i'll be lifting it. i've always had low cars and had no problem using a jack. so my question is what type of jack do i use on a lifted jeep? where are jack points. and what jack brand do you recommend

get the best brand, hi-lift.

but you should have aftermarket bumpers so they'll take the weight of your jeep when you jack it up.
i like to use my d-shackle as a jack point as my front bumper angles in under my jeep and doesn't get much lift surface.

and strong rock rails to lift up from the side.

Just get a good scissors jack for changing flats and so forth. Much safer. Just make sure it is tall enough for any increase in tire size.

Jack it up with cinder blocks and a floor jack like this. Make sure the cinder blocks under the Jeep are leaning at a pretty good angle. That is known to make it more exciting.
