i think they want you to hook to the high beems so they dont come on with the low beams. just hook them to a switch and use a relay to wire them up so you can turn them on any time

yeah that is the right way to do it. i don't know how many time i use my high beams but i don't want to use them to use flood lights or driving lights.

wufta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! after a couple more hours of re wiring i finally got it all squared away...now they are tearing it up!!!!....also it is very nice to know now that the fuse in the green wire was faulty!...i decided to buy some more fuses when i went into town today and turns out that was a good plan...when we went to turn the lights on they wouldnt go..so we checked all of our grounds and everything..then checked the fuses and what do you know...the fuse was blown or somethin...so changed them out and boom!...jus that easy i guess...but not really for me anyways...i kinda know the ins and outs now..hopefully i can install more in the future like a light bar...im really satisfied with the output these lights give off..compared to baja lights..glad i stuck with the hellas!!!!!

I wired them directly to my high beams, but also got a factory fog light switch out of an XJ from the scrap yard. Wired that switch in line with it so it acts as an master override off.
