Default Pre 96 Heater Core Replacement

My 95 XJ heater core is working correctly however it's 20 years old and I've heard it's not too bad to replace on the older Cherokee, so why not? I guess you don't need to remove the dash? If anyone has a write up that's very clear or any help that would be great. I've searched but haven't been able to find very specific help. I want a very clear write up that's thorough.

Thank you!

You need to remove the dash, or at least pull out the right side. The above link shows you how to do this. If the heater core isn't leaking, leave it alone. Its not a quick, simple job.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. Especially talking about a pretty decent job like a heater core. But if you have the free time then go for it it guess. I'd leave it.
