Alright so I've been searching and reading for awhile now and everything that people say to try I've tried it. I have a 93 xj with a 4.0 and AW4 tranny and it will run and idle just fine but then when I start driving it will lose all power and die randomly. I will then start it up and drive another 30 yards if lucky and the same thing will happen. The code I get when I scan it says MAP sensor voltage to high or low. I have replace the MAP sensor, CPS, regular tune up, chased wires and everything is getting right voltage, checked all the relays and fuses so you can imagine my frustration so please any help would be awesome thanks.

Have you checked the fuel filter? Not sure if it would cause it to throw that same code, but sounds like it could be a really clogged filter. It gets enough fuel at idle, but once the demand for more comes there isn't enough fuel getting around the junk and it starves out.

Ya I replaced the fuel filter that was part of my tuneup. I've heard some people say the ignition coil but wouldn't that be more of a thermal thing?

And yes I have a new cat to put on once it's running. Just tried to see if that was the problem.

Is your map sensor on the firewall? Make sure you plugged the little plastic tube into the lower port on the throttle body, not the upper port. Will cause your issues

when its started up shake the big wire harness where it connects to the pcm and see if it stalls or wants to die.
