Well they are now starting to work half *** again, Im guessing I have a poor connection in there, I went roll them up with the engine on and when I moved the switch to teh down position I could watch my battery gauge go down rapidly...I closed the door with some extra force and now its working fine..what would be the suspect?

I'm having similar... intermittant behavior via passenger side door switch.
I already took apart the driver's side door and checked for broken wires(in the rubber grommet leading to door frame) as well as cleaned out the master module.
Next task is to take apart the passenger side door and check the wiring and switch module there. If the module is anything like the mater one, there are double contacts on the switch: one for up and one for down. Try to give them a good cleaning.

If it's your passenger side, it's also the rear doors too. It's a common problem with Cherokees caused by the "door lock" button. I just fixed mine based on direction I found on this site. Do a thread search under "power windows" and you should be able to find the thread. Good luck!
