Power window question
1987 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4.0 Auto
My driver window is the only one that works, the rest don't do anything. (No noise when the switches are engaged.) they wont work on the Main switch or individual switches for each window. I am getting power to each switch (purple/white wire) but im not sure how to test each motor. tried OHM it but couldn't find anything (tried the one that worked with the same result.) Is there a relay that could cause this? fuse checked out good. Any help would be great. Summer is just around the corner and id like to be able to roll em down (alabama heat)

This may or may not be a helpful pursuit but I had a problem with my window switches (other than driver's) intermittently working. The remedy to the problem started off with deconstructing the switch unit on the driver's door. Ended up that I had two broken soldering points on the cicruit board. I also went ahead and cleaned the contact points on the switch lock to ensure that would be working properly.
Basically, I would just play around with the window lock on the driver's switches and see if that provides any intermittent use of the other switches.

Actually, no. I just realized that you have an 87, thought it said 97. You might want to check out the solder points on that as well, but it's completely different from the switch unit that I'm referring to.

Thanks anyways, this is just confusing me to me. I have a diagram and im getting power to all the switches. Idk what else to do at this point. I dont want to just start replacing things. Id rather find the true problem first

if you're getting power to the motors when you push the switch then everything up until that point it's obviously working correctly I would say your problem is the window motors if they don't buzz or make any noise at all. You can also check to make sure that the glasses moving freely in the track and its not seized and some other way causing the window to not move even if the motors are working
