1994 Grand Cherokee - ALL operation of Power windows stopped work all of a sudden. Where ok at night, next day nothing working. 30 amp Fuse ok, power to fuse slot in fuse block, have power to tan wire at driver side controls, test light show power when touching body ground and also to the black wire of wire connection block. So I'm assuming I have power & ground at main switches. If jump between hot an any other connection nothing happens. I can not find any information on power wdos that is directly addressing this and can not find a power window wiring diagram on net or in Chilton's book. Anyone got some help???

 

I have the same problem, mine seem to be intermittent, most of the time the passenger door window switches don't work, but the driver controls usually work. Must be some sort of faulty wiring, havent gotten around to try tracing mine though

 

My wdos all worked ok one day and then the next day nothing worked. No off and on again or driver door controls only. Just nothing works. With the hot lead showing 12v at Drivers door main switch and the negative showing that it is connected and working, I'm a little baffled why none of the windows work.

 

Try posting in the GC section. This is the XJ section. You might get some help there since the XJ and GC are completely different.
