Default power steering pump

so my power steering pump(PSP) is starting to go bad its kinda hard to explain but it has a aluminum bracket it attaches to. i work at a junk yard and i took one out of a 95 cherokee today and that PSP has a metal bracket and an belt tensioner pulley under it.. so my question is will the PSP off the 95 cherokee fit on my 93 cherokee? if so do i just take the pulley off it??? idk what to do if this doesnt fit right, im just gonna buy a brand new if i cant figure it out but im hhoping you guys would voice ur opinion. i'll post pic to help you.. the first pic is the mounting bracket in my 93 and the second pic is the metal mounting bracket out of the 95. thanks again

If the pulleys are both the same--plastic or metal-- you should be ok! Take the brackets off of them, and check to see if the mounting bolts thread in or bolt thru . If they are still the same your good to go!

Default .

The pump itself is a direct match. The pulley and holder maybe different. I would just remove the PSP from the bracket from the 95 and install it on the bracket for the 93. Just make sure you connect everything tightly and you should be good to go. Easiest way to tell if the PSP is right or not when swapping from different years is to just go to an auto parts store site, like advance or autozone, and input the two cars for the part search. In this case, the same part number comes up.
