power steering pump
just curious to know if any thing special has to be done to swap steering pumps on my '01 cherokee. haynes book only shows older models and instructions are really vague

Well, I just read the Haynes manual I have for '93 thru '04 GC and it looks pretty simple. I don't know of any tips or tricks to make it any easier tho. Your manual explained how to bleed the new pump, yes? Oh, and use only Mopar PS Fluid.. not ATF! Just curious, what engine?
