Default power steering mounting bolt size?

anyone know what size the bolts are that mount the pump to the intake manifold. i had them and now cant find them and spent hours searching the web but can only find all other bolts but those.

im in the midst of doing the 99 intake swap with the newer style bracket and pump.

What year? I have a renix will that be the same? I have the pump and bracket off so it will be easy to measure, but let me know if it's the same first.

The three bolts to mount the pump to a '99 manifold are M8x1.25x95mm.

They have a captive washer on them but I think that a flange head bolt will work.

I doubt you can find a 95 MM length bolt at the hardware but a 90 MM length may work; the extra 5 MM is the threadless pilot on the threaded end of the bolt. Even 90 MM will be hard to find. You can check with Fastenal to see if they have them (flange head). The longest M8x1.25 bolts I've seen at a hardware were 80 MM long.

OEM part number is 6502425. MSRP $5.45.

Went out and checked my bolts. It looks as though you could sneak an 80 MM length bolt in there (with a washer under the bolt head or a flange head bolt), but the threads would not protude out of the manifold.

If you get bolts from the hardware make sure that they are at least Class 8.8 bolts.

I think the OP is talking about the three bolts that hold the pump to the '99 intake manifold (which are M8), not the mount bracket to the water pump.

Oh snap!

I'm so used to seeing posts about busted/rusted/AWOL steering gear-box bolts....

I could use the measurements for a renix. My Comanche is an 89 and I don't have any there. Been looking forever for someone who knows the bolt specs.
