Hey guys, I have a 98 cherokee and the leak looks like its coming from the bottom of the reservoir. Im thinking its between the reservoir and the pump itself. Im guessing it could be a seal if there is one that goes there. Anyway, any other ideas what it could be ?

Im thinking about buying a repair kit that comes with some seals. Il try to take some pics tomorrow for you guys.

 

Sure it's not the pressure hose leaking?

 

I am not sure, Its my first car so im learning on it. but let me get some pics for you guys. It also makes a sqeeking noise when i turn the steering wheel. Its only sometimes that it does it.

 

Check the pressure hose first. My 96 developed a leak in the hose before which seems to be the weakest link in the power steering system. And a much easier fix than replacing seals.
