Glad it worked! I use that trick often on lines that im not using anymore. its great for rear brake lines especially where they go into the wheel cylinders.

I have a power steering leak in the other hose/line.

Have any of you ever replaced the other line that runs from the power steering box under the lower radiator hose, accross the bottom and runs down the passenger side of the oil pan?

Am I mistaken and that connects to something else?

any tips?

That's not a power steering hose.

That's the line that runs from the transmission to the transmission fluid cooler on the side of the radiator.

Thank you, I couldn't tell where it connected. Looks like it has a quick connect on one end, is it a beast to get to the other end at the cooler?

It can be a pain to get the fitting out of the radiator. I had to mostly remove the radiator to get mine out last time. It's a tight fit in there.

with the quick connect I don't think I need to remove it from the radiator, just the rubber hose part back t the little cooler on side the trans. (hoping)

I just replaced the radiator a few month back and you're right, was a bear to get the lines loose.

(Thinking back, that was when the leak started, must have tweaked the line in the process)
