Power steering leak
Changing the oil today and kind of taking inventory of my leaks. Thats kind of sad seeing it typed out. But anyway a new one cropped up on me that worries me a bit more. Power steering reservoir or pump. Kind of looks like its coming from where the reservoir meets the pump. All around the lines looks dry so I don't think its those. Is there a gasket or something in there and it is worth changing or should I just replace the whole thing.

There is a seal but... clean off the pump and what not to verify where the leak is coming from. If you can't fix it right away use the LUCAS power steering fix, it is the only LUCAS product I use and it works REALLY well.

So many times it's hard to see just where a leak is coming from unless you clean the area first. A little engine gunk and the local car wash does wonders. A bright flashlight helps also. It's good insurance that your on the right path. Reminds me of the saying "measure twice, cut once".
