Default $@$×€£!₩! power lock fuse

2000 XJ here.

I'm traveling today w/o easy access to search the board. Can someone tell me which fuse to pull to kill my power door locks? There's a short somewhere, and they are constantly locking over and over. It's driving me insane.

Also, if anybody has a suggestion on where to start looking for the short, I would love to hear it. It's only locking, not unlocking. Up until the last few minutes it was only doing it while in motion, but now it's doing it sitting still also.

It's #15 fuse (25A) in the JB. There's also a CB in the JB, #28 25A, in the JB.

Here is what I found;
#15(25A) - passenger power lock/window switch
#28(25A) - power lock/window switches

YES!!! THANK YOU!!!

It seems a little thing, but that was easily the most annoying thing my Jeep has ever done.

I am having the same issue with my 99 XJ, did you ever find out where the short is? Is this a common problem?

You won't get an answer from the O.P.. Extrashaky was banned a while back over a heated discussion about engine oil preferences.

Default power lock

The problem may be the wiring harness at the door hinge. I was having problem the the whole switch and window operation. I could operate by either closing door or opening door 6 inches. Now operation stopped. Checking fuses. I'll let u know.
