I didnt check for power. But i did pull the harness back under the dash so i can have easy access to it
and the last time i checked the trans fuse, it was still good but i'll check it again and check the harness for power. What kind of reading should i get from the harness?

I cant find my multi-meter
so I just used a test light. when I tried the tan and striped wire there was no light but when I tried the striped and black wire I got light. Is that the right way? Anyway, when I put my jumper wire back in at first, i did the striped (I think) and black wire so I roasted my trans fuse
So now I know for sure I'll be needing that fuse

With the test light. Is it only supposed to light up when I touch either colored wire with the black wire? When i touched the tan and striped wire together with the test light I got nothing
