Post up your Vents
I live in the desert area of Colorado where temps can reach as high as 105* durring the summer. I know from working at a lube shop that the under hood temps of a Jeep are extremely high. Some of the highest that come in are the cherokee's. I just wanted to get some opinions and ideas for venting the under hood hotness. I don't want to do the whole hood lift thing and look like the imports running around town. I was looking into some ebay vents that use the 3m tape to hold down. But will that last?
Here are the ones that I was looking at.

check them out. it may be a better alternative to cutting a hole in your hood.

Do you hear banjos?
I live in CO as well, and I was thinking of going to Lowes, and buying a couple of one direction floor vents, painting them black and screwing them onto the hood!! I don't think they would look any worse than the others I've seen. Peace out!!

ddeadserious, got an under hood shot? I like the look of those. I also like the zj limited ones but they would have to go in the center, which is what those ebay ones kinda look like.

I live in CO too. it does get pretty hot in some areas. For the people that have the hood vents, can you see a difference in temperature?
Edit: i also work at lube shop!! Jiffy lube lol...WE ARE J-TEAM

I don't think that spending $100+ for hood vents is in my budget but those are the nicest ones I've ever seen.
Tupton, I think those are from a 80's 280z, I was looking at a set on one that came into my work the other day.
911xj where did you find those? They look nicer than most.
