Default Is it possible to bead lock steelies?

I was just looking at a couple pictures of some rigs and it looked like a few of them had either stock steelies or those cheap black wheels that you pick up for $40 a piece that were bead locked somehow. Just wondering how that was done?

Simple solution. 2 sets of tires. Smaller set on alloy for the street and bigger tires locked onto steelies for the trail. Not so anoying to bang $40 steelies on rocks, than it is with $100+ alloys.

do you know how to weld aluminum? not matter if its steel or AL you have to weld a ring onto the wheel. sky manufacturing makes a DIY kit. search them out.
